Reliable Router
Reliable Router is an iPhone application developed by UC Berkeley researchers to provide drivers with directions which take the reliability of travel times into account. This means that after specifying a budget, the application will route you in the way that maximizes your likelihood of arriving on time, rather than in a way that minimizes your travel time on average.
Our work was presented and published as part of the 2011 IEEE ITSC (Intelligent Transportation Systems Conference) in Washington, DC. Please bookmark this page to find out when our application will launch in the App Store.
Availability
Our application is currently nearing the final stages of development. We expect to launch it by the end of 2011.
